Education and Training Support Request

Use this form to request Education and Training support. Before you make a new request, you will be asked to review the previous Education and Training request so that we can continue to monitor the impact of the Education and Training support.

Education Bursary funding is allocated according to the age of the individual on 1st September and is updated each academic year. Any unspent funding is carried over to the following year.

Aged 0-4: £2,000 per year

Aged 5-21: £5,000 per year

Aged 21-24 and in full-time education: £5,000 per year

Education & Training Bursary for 0-25yr olds

If you are in full-time education and are aged between 21 to 24, we will need to see evidence of enrolment before we can allocate an Education and Training budget. Please send your evidence to Edfuture@rbkc.gov.uk

If you are a parent of a child with Special Educational Needs, you can access additional funding up to £2,000 per year. For more information, please read the Education Policy for Children and Young People with SEND. To apply for your child, please click here.

If you are an adult aged over 25, you can access a one-off Education and Training Bursary up to £2,000. If you wish, you can choose to gift this £2,000 to your child or grandchild, as long as they are eligible for the Dedicated Service.
